Abstract submission is closed 

The National Research Scholars Meet (NRSM) in Life sciences-2019 invites abstracts from researchers around India. Students from academia, industry and research organisations are welcome to submit their abstracts and be a part of this one-of-a-kind scientific experience. Few abstracts based on scientific merit will be chosen for platform presentation. All other abstracts will be eligible for a poster presentation. Participants can submit an abstract from any aspect of life sciences. 

Guidelines for abstract submission

  • Abstract must be submitted in online registration form as a word file ( .doc / .docx / .rtf format).

  • Abstract must be in English, font - Times New Roman, size - 12, spacing - 1.5 and should not exceed 300 words, excluding references.

  • Title should be in bold. Do not italicise (unless required) or underline any items in the title.

  • Authors should be listed by the first name followed by surname. Name of presenting author should be underlined. The presenting author must be a registered participant.

  • Mention the complete name of the institution in which the work is carried out, followed by city.

  • Avoid abbreviations in the title.

  • Avoid tables, graphs and images in the abstract.

  • Once submitted, no correction in the abstract is possible.

  • Participants whose abstracts will be selected for poster and oral presentations will be updated through the mail.

For poster presentation:

Poster size should be of 4x3 feet (strictly) in landscape mode. The poster should include abstract, background, methods, results and conclusions.


For oral/platform presentation:

Participants selected for oral presentations will be given 10+5 minutes for presentation and discussion.



Participants with best oral (Dr. Rajiv Kalraiya memorial award)  and poster (Dr. Lalith Kumar Chaganti memorial award) presentation will be awarded exciting prize money.
